So far I have uncovered an obituary saying that Joseph's wife (Wealthy) died at Big Pigeon, Council Bluffs in
1850. However, Ancestry.com has an 1851 census transcription for Pottawattamie County, showing Joseph, Wealthy &
their two sons. The sons departed on the Uriah Curtis wagon train 1852 in the care of S. Williams. Therefore it
is strongly believed Joseph may have died prior to the trip. Anyone with information, I'd like to hear from you.
